I'm Barney, a 25 year old Brit based in London, UK. I hold a master's degree in history and have spent the last few years out of university, living and working in Canada, with a fair bit of international travel in-between.

 

For a long time now, I've struggled to find a creative outlet for my interests. Blogging has filled this hole and has allowed me to get creative with topics I wouldn't normally find myself making public for you to read. Alongside this, even the making and design of this site presented a challenge so I'm pleased to be able to share with you all something I'm proud of.

I don't intend to follow any certain theme with this blog, merely write about the things I enjoy and take interest in. I won't be sticking to one particular tone; some pieces might have a bit of humour, others may take on a way more thought provoking approach. It's the beauty of writing, being a creative force where its content often matches present moods and interests.
